First of all, Happy New Year! ^u^
I had some extra time this week between queues and wanted to squeeze in a little something for a few folks who have been extra supportive this past year. You guys know I make my living from commissions, so every time someone buys my art it helps keep me doing what I love to do. I'm grateful for everyone who has done so, so THANK YOU!
The past year has really been tough on so many people. When money is tight, the necessities take priority and I know art is definitely not on that list. When everything went crazy in March I was really worried what would happen with my business. Pach had quit his job due to the pandemic stuff so we were down to only my income for the time being, which would not have been enough on it's own. Family stepped in with a bit of financial help to get us through a couple months, but to my surprise and relief, commissions kept coming in and we were able to stay afloat. Barely, but we weren't drowning.
The fact that you guys give me your hard earned money to draw pretty pictures still blows my mind, but you keep me from the retail life with it and I'll never take any of that for granted. I appreciate every single person who buys art from me, but there were a few who have been repeat customers, jumping on my queue again and again and I wanted to do something special for them to show my appreciation. You've probably seen a lot of their characters in my gallery and this is why. n_n

If any of you guys want individual crops for reposting just let me know and I'll send one over, but I figured posting them together would be easier than copy-pasting the same text across all four. Each was done on a half sheet of paper, so roughly 5.5"x8.5" or so. They all also have glitter accents because that's a thing I'm doing now. lol

Oh WOW. What a lovely surprise! I was working on a new short story when a friend mentions gift art, and I was like what? What are you talking about? LOL.

I'm so glad you were able to keep doing art for a living throughout 2020 and didn't have to give up your dream because of hard times. That's fantastic to know, and it's awesome to know you have such wonderful clients, too! These are all such beautiful little pictures, too, and I have to confess I'm rather partial to the one of Lauren. I've gotten to know her, and her character, very well over the years, and you've done a fantastic job with her beautiful mare. The water spell around her and that lovely uniform both look particularly good, I think, and she really is such a cutie.
The others are beautiful, as well, and I love the green dress of the girl to the center left. You design such beautiful outfits, and it's something I could see Luthien wearing as well.

So beautiful! I love all these outfits! My favorites are the red sequined one and the zebra's outfit. The sequins are so amazingly done! The character's dark facial markings and flower in her hair also look stunning. The brown and blue theme of the zebra's portrait is lovely. I especially enjoy the texturing of the leather and the gemstone adorning it.
