Looks pretty comfy to rest atop vollukoth's tail and lean against his back like that.
Seeing as he can actually move, and is an eldritch entity as far as i understand it, would vollukoth do something close to teleportation to move around, since i've only seen him sitting so far?
It would be pretty funny though to be relaxing on him, only to end up being carried along through a higher dimensional shortcut that is teleportation. XD

Aaah, very astute! As Vollukoth isn't really capable of standing in his inflatable form (tail too heavy), he indeed finds other ways of getting around, though the mechanism by which he moves is not really known! That said, I never thought of him actually teleporting while someone was right on top of him and I can't help but imagine it'd be rather jarring, if not a bit frightening hahaha
It would definitely cut down on traveling expenses and time though, even if at best the tag along ends up startled by the likely sudden transition, and at worst be left a gibbering mess with nightmares for months at worst.
that said, i honestly wouldn't have minded actually trying it if i ever got the chance, since vollukoth would definitely make sure that friends come to as little harm as possible.
