Luke blinked drearily. Bright lights burned his eyes and he closed them again to try and ward off the incoming headache he knew would emerge if he dared to stare down the glowing spears. Everything around him felt odd. His limbs felt almost like as if he was floating in a dream. The kind of dream that left you in the middle of the ocean, just bobbing underneath the surface. Each leg, hand, and arm merely being slowly tossed about without his input.
He gasped, struggling to draw oxygen into his body. His breathing felt heavy, like as if the air was thicker around him. Each breath resisting his attempts to be drawn into his lungs only to be released as a stream of bubbles that tickled his nose. Despite the drowning feeling that permeated his throat, he knew he was still breathing okay. Although it certainly felt uncomfortable, his body was not screaming at him to find oxygen.
Was he still dreaming? It all felt so nice...so natural. Even his tail was swishing behind him relaxed...
Wait, tail?
Luke's eyes shot wide open. The light hurt but he ignored it's stabbing pain as he looked down at his body in fear. Where he had expected to be lying in bed, sheets covering his bare human skin, he instead saw something entirely alien. Covering his leg and waist was fur. Bright and dark blue fur! Enwrapping his body like a half skirt, the dark blue fur tapered down his waist and off his sides like a half-skirt. Below the course fur was bright blue fur that covered his leg almost like as if he was wearing a pair of fuzzy pants. Pants that no matter how he moved stayed stuck to him.
As terrifying as discovering you were growing fur was, however, was the fact that at the end of his inhuman leg was an equally inhuman foot. Or rather paw.
He could feel the water flow past the webbing that stretched between his toes, the thick skin giving him certainty as to his new water-borne prowess. It felt strange, almost like as if his foot was stuck in a baseball glove, but this was not a silly dream. His foot was not a human's foot. His claws tapped against the glass of his clear cage and he shivered as he felt the vibrations travel up his aching muscles.
Between his legs, one of which was only just similarly gaining a thick carpet of blue fur, a black furred tail swayed smoothly in the strange liquid. His tail...
It felt strange. Like an arm that could bend in all directions. At the same time, it felt powerful. It was much like a mixture of an otter and beaver tail. Thick, tough, and rudder-like that promised to Luke the possibilities of slipping through cool rivers and~
What was he thinking!? Images of lakes and rivers caressed through his mind like a trickling stream of consciousness. In return, the bubbles around the transforming man flowed stronger, the invasive current reminding Luke of the changed portions of his body.
A door opened in the room with a loud click, immediately drawing Luke's gaze up. Fog that had settled on the floor billowed around the individual as they walked forward. It took the scared man a few seconds to see who their captor was through the bright light and thick glass. The one who had changed them so utterly.
It was an anthro Glaceon.
Luke could not believe his eyes. The man-like creature walked with a chilling grace as his thin ribbon-like tail drifted behind him. His right eye carried a terrifying scar although his expression showed neither malice nor delight.
His paws clacked to a stop in front of the captured human and he appeared to read a monitor set to the side. Luke placed his paws on the glass in an attempt to get the attention of the anthro Pokemon. A desperate and silent plea to be let go. His stomach fell as he saw that his hand had changed into a four fingered paw, his nails leaving light scratches in the glass.
The Glaceon pressed a few buttons on the console and Luke noticed that the bubbles in his container suddenly increased again. As they flowed around him Luke could feel his body tingling more and he scratched pitifully at the glass.
Only now did the anthropomorphic Eeveelution turn up to look at him. A cold expression on his face as he judged Luke's protests and pleas.
He placed his paw where Luke's was on the glass. Their inhuman hands meeting up as a strange reflection of the other.
And then he turned and left. Leaving Luke with worried thoughts and unanswered questions.
I wonder how it would feel to drift in a tank as your body changed around you. Nothing but your thoughts and new sensations to give you company. How might it feel to feel your pads tickled by bubbles or your tail to swish through the thick liquid? I think it all would feel so nice. To just let your humanity go.
