Grandmaster Falkaus was the head of his order in Reylen, he gave counsel to the northwestern nations before the Kharrians and after their fall. But in the growing complexity of the times the order of the Yhornai saw its impotence, the monks were not to involve themselves entirely in the chaos of the world but to manage it. As disturbances grew in the east of a dark power rising, many grew aggravated with these antiquated ways, the Yhorne had always been the utmost respected beings of the world but as they would not use their power to relieve the world of its suffering, many kings turned away from their guidance seeing it as useless. Falkaus was the eldest and most conservative of the order of monk hood but even he saw the nuetral ways of the Ylmar hard to keep faith in, regardless of them having helped build the worlds of their gods they were still liable to emotion. In the times of the Braelmen, many monks wandered away from the great Kandil towers they managed to see what good could be done in the world or to even save it from destruction. Falkaus remained in the north, duty bound to his holy convictions.

Some of the symbols are just stylized but I see them as wards on holy rocks. The main symbol on the center crown however has meaning, the tall vertical line signifying the great lantern of the world which is a beam of light ebbing and warming as night and day. The broken circle around representing the world, the intersecting lines are Kandil towers which are power auxiliaries to the main source of mystical energy in the world. The field of tiny white squares represent all other worlds in the great void.
