The twins are going back to war! Having already fought in Britain and the US, this time they are heading to China where the sport has really began to kick off in recent years - and they’re signed up to compete in “Emperor of Fighting Crash Bots”! Their entry is “Golden Thunder”, equipped with a mighty axe - and enough force to make the robot jump! It also has “omniwheels” that make it drive side to side as well as forward and back. The inspiration came from real life Battlebots legend “Shatter” and “Ragnarok”, and Clashbots competitor “AU Thumper”.
Jason rejoins the team as driver, while Linda is back home looking after Amanda, so taking her place as electrician is Lucas, a jackal who is an apprentice under Linda’s wing at Electronics World.

but we can all agree that giving robots firearms is a bad idea because well the last thing we need is to put money into the fighting area to take on a 50 bmg round.

Mine are SOW, Warhead, Minotaur, SawBlaze, Atom #94, Hydra, Fusion, Witch Doctor, Rotator, Slammow, Black Dragon, Yeti, Copperhead, Claw Viper, Ghost Raptor, LockJaw, Hypershock, Monsoon, Perfect Phoenix, Quantum, Railhun MAX, Whiplash, Bronco, DUCK, Bloodsport, Malice, Black Dragon and Tombstone.
As I said, I was not sure what kind of shirt that Golden Thunder was wearing. I have a couple of polo shirts of my own.
I did get the details wrong from the last Robot Wars. The Harveys' robot was grabbed by a house robot and dumped into the pit. ( I didn't know that one hazard of a melee like that was a house robot. That robot tries to grab a competitor and dump it into the pit around the playing field.)
