Looks like there’s a mutual interest between Lannon and this werewolf, both terrified to get close to the other, both still wanting that touch. The distance between them closes a bit more here, though maybe not in the way you’d expect after what happened at the end of chapter 4. Don’t worry, though, I’ve got some more things planned coming up quite soon.
