Sometimes I get stuck in my drawings, and this is one of them. I started it originally as one of the art pack images, but I'm discarding it due to lack of direction and uncertainty about the mood I wanted it to have. (The art pack is nearly finished btw! The painting that replaced this one fits much better with the romantic/lovey mood of the Hictooth artpack ;)
Sure, Toothy looks pretty good, but it's a simple pose, nothing difficult there. No strange angles, and I'm very unsure how to continue with Hiccup, as seen by where I stalled out on his pose, I haven't even drawn his clothes yet, he isn't naked XD I wanted to post this because, while there's some parts I like, I'm doubtful I'll finish this, or even finish Hiccup. And that's okay! Art is meant to be enjoyed, and an unfinished piece can still be enjoyed <3 It's okay to move on from a piece of art, and you can always come back to it later.
