Arrangement: Hooray for Captain Spaulding (Groucho's Them...
My simplified arrangement of the theme tune from the classic television game show "You Bet Your Life," which has had several incarnations, but this is the original theme we associate with the late but great Groucho Marx. Others who have had a try at hosting this game include Buddy Hackett (1980), Richard Dawson (1988 unsold pilot), and Bill Cosby (1992), and this fall, I've heard, Jay Leno is set to have a try as host. But how much, I ask, is Jay's version going to compare to when he hosted "The Tonight Show?" Only time will tell. However, that's why I did the song here.
