The gang played throughout the afternoon, soon, suppertime came around and it was time to clean up and head home. The little ponies got their toys to shore dry off and deflate.

Buttercup waddled out of the pond, still surrounded by her huge yellow tube. She fell over and bounced, her forelegs couldn't reach the ground. She rolled over once and righted herself, giggling.

"Imma rolly-polly! Imma run you over, Thistle!"

"What?" Thistle looked up just in time to see the great yellow doughnut bearing down on her, powered by the squirming yellow filly inside. "Eek!" she squealed as the soft tube ran her over.

"You ain't getting me! I can fly!" Green spread his wings to take off, but they were too wet. "No! Cooties!" He got flattened by Buttercup's rampaging swim tube.

"Nopony can stop me! I am invincible! You're next, Blue!"

"Run, Blue! Save yourself! It is too late for us!" sadid green, picking himself up, but falling over dramatically.

Blue ran... Straight into a tree. "Ow!"

Buttercup laughed. "Now I have you! Do you wanna be regular, or extra squishy?"

Blue had his rump pressed up against the tree, watching as Buttercup maneuvered herself and the tube in for the run down, pausing momentarily to turn. That was when Blue noticed the toy's big valve.

"Extra squishy!" He exclaimed as blue magic surrounded the valve. In a moment it was free, and air hissed loudly from the toy as Buttercup started rolling towards him.

Buttercup felt the pop as her toy's valve was pulled. Almost immediately she could feel it shrink a little, not squeezing her tummy as tightly as she started to roll towards Blue. "Oh, no, I've been popped! I'm deflating! No fair using magic, Blue, I'm still gonna get you!"

Buttercup rolled hard and tried to reach blue, but the big valve hissed less as the tube quickly lost air, squishing and dimpling as it got softer and softer. By the time she reached blue, it could barely hold her weight, and she was falling out of the middle. She stopped and turned towards Blue.

Blue watched the deflating ring getting closer, and closer, but it lost momentum as it lost air, Buttercup started to slip out of the middle as it became floppier and floppier. she stopped a few feet from Blue. Her eyes glistened, and her lower lip started to quiver. Blue felt a stone forming in the pit of his stomach. His head drooped down,matching Buttercup's height in the ring. "I-I'm sorry, I didn't want to risk my horn popping youi ring, like I popped Squeeks.."

Buttercup reached up with her hoof and touched Blue's muzzle. "Boop! I got you!" she laughed and blew a raspberry from inside the deflating ring.

"Cooties!" Green yelled, all four friends were soon laughing again! In short order, they had their toys packed away neatly in their saddlebags and happily trotting back home.
