BlueMario1016 (because he loves the drum roll sound so much), here is my take on the military bugle call "Taps." I had previously done a recording of me drumming on my actual snare drum (with the snares off) alongside a recording of a bugler playing "Taps," but this is done with the EMU Proteus 2 synthesizer sounds for a B-flat trumpet and snare drum, with a bass drum thrown in for good measure on the last note.
This weekend is Memorial Day Weekend, so I figured this would be a good time to do this piece. I do dedicate this to all our men and women who have paid the ultimate price for this nation's freedoms we should never, but, alas, often do, take for granted.
