It's bright, but appropriately so. XD I like how bright it is; it fits the fire and their personalities.

Good type coverage between those two Pokes. Only think off the top of my head I can see resisting all Poison/Grass/Fire/Flying moves would be Heatran... and he's legendary so poo on him.

That's an amazingly sweet looking Charizard. It clearly comes off that he's your favorite. Great work, again.

Heatran's actually part steel, so fire moves would just do normal damage against it~

NO YA SEE NO... That's wrong!! Heatran has Flash Fire so fire moves not only DON'T hit it but in fact give it a power boost! Heatran has single handedly destroyed the concept of Perfect Coverage in a moveset unless you teach your pokemon an Ice-Move and an Electric-Move.

Oh, I didn't know it had Flash Fire. I have yet to...actually catch the one in any of my games. XD I keep just sort of...forgetting it exists.

You and my friend both. Heatran is a particuarly forgettable Pokemon until you realize that it single-handedly messed up a lot of perfectly designed movesets. I don't usually allow people to use Legendaries in matches with me, but popular metagame (and by popular metagame I mean http://www.smogon.com rules) say that he is usable. I say poppycock to that but whatever :I

I don't do competitive battling, and only occasionally do it with my friends for fun. XD I just use what I like, I guess.

Unfortunately a bunch of my friends and I all figured out super advanced Pokemon crap and we were sucked in. It's sort of a void you can't come back from once you're in it. D:

Ahaha, I get what you mean there~ I got sucked into level grinding recently. I have a friend who does it, and her level 100 Pokemon were so impressive I started to do it as well. Now I have a couple of 100s, one of which is actually the Charizard in this picture.

But yeah, my friends and I tend to write and draw Pokemon stuff more than we tend to battle with each other. XD

I love level grinding... it's so mindless that I try to do it whenever I'm watching a movie or cartoons. OR I get extra dorky and as I'm level grinding think up detailed personalities/stories for my pokemon xD; Which.... yeah, leads to more writing and drawing than anything else.

And haha yeah I'm trying to get my S.S. team to 100. ALMOST THERE :D I just wish Raikou leveled up faster, good god. Just. make sure you have some level 70-80 pokemon too because ugh the game is so boring when you just plow through everything effortlessly xD

Yeah, doing it while watching movies is a good way. XD And not dorky, I do it too~ (Or maybe that just makes me a dork as well, OH WELL.)

In my SoulSilver I've currently got three level 100s and three level 80s. MY LUGIA IS GOING TO BE A BITCH, I KNOW IT. D=

Level grinding has really lost a lot of it's flair to me. I pretty regularly use the "Flat Battle" option, which makes every Pokemon in the fight level 50, so I don't really raise anything past 50 unless I need a specific move. Yea I suppose it's not nearly as exciting as level 100, but I'll tell you it's far less of a hassle.

I love to draw my Pokemon :3 I have them all very characterized in my own ways.

I'm just leveling certain ones up to 100 because...they deserve it, you know? XD I love 'em.

Mmm. Level 100 was never really my thing. I actually tend to raise a huge array of Pokemon. Currently I have my HeartGold Travel Team, My Diamond Travel Team, My Sapphire Travel Team, My Beta Diamond Fire Team, My Perfected Heartgold Fire Team, My Pokemon Blue Simulation Team, My Level 25 Doubles Team, My Baby Fire Team, A Ledian, A Sharpedo (Named Salsa), and A Vespiquen.

The Vespiquen is the only one who is still a work in Progress.

In the ten years I've been playing these games, I've never been able to have the patience to raise something to 100 before now. I blame my ADHD. =B

I guess that makes it a really special achievement in my eyes. I'm by no means obsessed with it, though. XD

I accidentally raised my Diamond Teams Porygon-Z to level 100. That was sort a bizarre but fun accomplishment for me. My proudest moment was actually completing my Pokedex in Pokemon Diamond. I have no intention of finishing any other games Pokedex any time soon.

I have yet to complete a Pokedex, but Diamond is the game I'd do that in, for sure. XD

Porygon-Z is kickass, by the way.

Oh Porygon-Z is some kind of amazing. It's really funny too because when I was building my Diamond team I told my friend I have a certain niche my team is missing and I wanted something that wasn't Normal-type because there really aren't that many good Normal-types. He told me don't underestimate Normal-type Pokemon and it suddenly occurred to me that my team needed a Special Sweeper and I already almost had one ready in the form of my untrained Porygon-Z.

Cut to 3 years later, it's my only level 100, and it my single most feared Pokemon I have ever raised, next to my Infernape. :3

Oh god, yeah, agreed so hard. I seriously wish I could play pokemon LIKE A NORMAL PERSON once again D;

Ya know I'd like to maybe battle you some time. If you have a team of Pokemon all above level 50 we can have a cool, fair fight. Is there any specific rule set you play by?

Charizard might be awesome looking, but Bulbasaur will always and forever be my favorite starter. Plus Venasaur > All other grass types...period.

Charizard's always my favorite but I LOVE bulbasaur and his line. Especially Ivysaur and Venusaur <3 Ivysaur is probably my favorite grass type, aside from victreebell :3

The characters are awesome, but I love the framing the fire does and the light background half-circle!

May I ask how you do your lineart? It's always so vibrant, I've always wondered.

I do the line art with black lines (usually), then I make a clipping mask layer over the line art with a solid color, and adjust the hue/saturation as need be :3 Sometimes I'll "paint" the lines using the clipping layer as well~

Oooh, do you just go over some lines and them erase parts of them to make the lineweight as varied as it is? I always wondered how people do that when they ink without taking forever to adjust every single line.

It's a combination of that and using a fairly large brush (50 px) and setting the minimum size to zero... kinda like using a brush pen! But yeah, I also erase parts or "carve" parts to get it weighted how I want and looking sharp :3

Minimum size? Is this photoshop? How do you set the minimum size?

I like all generations, actually ;~; But I'll definitely say many of my all-time top favorites are in the first two generations of pokemon. All of them have been good in my opinion, though.

I just think that the creators have finally ran out of creative juice and squeezed the fruit too much, leaving mush now :/
