I have had a few conversations as of late in which some have asked whether Dai has any other attire than his standard Royal Air Force uniform. Any good officer should be able to afford themselves moments of respite, after all, so as to return to their duty with a clear, refreshed head. So, as summer is well and truly upon us and I’m in a generous mood, I hereby prove to you that Dai does, on occasion, allow himself time to relax.
I’ve never been to the Caribbean, personally. But with a few British Overseas Territories in the area and several other Commonwealth countries, my G-Shep is rather spoiled for choice. Here, we see him enjoying the type of holiday that best accompanies a busy work life. Simply sitting on warm sand, listening to the breeze rustling the palm trees and the waves lapping at the shore, gazing out over the water and wondering what might lie beyond the horizon. Or maybe he’s just waiting for someone to come along and offer him some rum and raisin ice cream. ^__^

I'm unfortunately not as well-traveled as you are, especially internationally, but I'm glad I can say that I have gotten to see the Caribbean once in my life. That was during a trip to Colombia many years ago. In fact I even went swimming and jet-skiing in it. The sunsets are definitely quite beautiful to look at.
I hope I can go down there again some day. There are lots of other places in the region I'd like to visit too. The Dutch ABC Islands are high on my list.
