After getting pulled out of the frozen slime lake some time back, I was invited to return the favor by helping the local Lifeguard outfit by being a "Mobile outpost" for them in the warmer times. Well, that favor was called in lately and i've learned just what being a mobile outpost really entails.

"You'll do fine! Had much smaller laprases do the job that you're doing and they all performed admirably!" The blastoise said with a friendly smile and a thumbs up. "Just do what you usually do as you swim and the others will do their thing as well."

The others that he was mentioning was a three 'mon team of a Vaporeon, Swampert, and their captain Samurott who were in a rehearsal of their positions aboard when we got underway. Apparently experienced in this type of operation it at least gave me some comfort to it all.

"Now, just sit tight and chug away there, with what they tell me you can hold quite a lot of food there so you're gonna need it all for the all day shift!" The blastoise chimed in again as he turned to slide off my side. It didn't take long and sure enough, mere moments later I could hear a pump start up and the surprisingly vanilla tasting drink started to flow into my maw at quite the volume. Guess i'm gonna find out just how well a "Mobile outpost" I turn out to be.




A slight deviation/distraction to slot into the middle of the Gabu-tour project i've been working on (As this has been in the works for a few weeks already after a friend gave me a idea!) so glad to have gotten it out after all that!
