Here we go found something a little older in my backlog that has not been posted yet was completed, a long time ago! And he actually has a neat little story attached and has thankfully been rescued and now living it up in another form.

So story time! So way back in the early 2014 I was commissioned by a local game studio ( that is now defunct try and look up Alieo Games ) as part of a "search for an artist campaign" to work on one of their edutainment titles, they had told me they needed a customizable avatar for the players to dress up and use in the game and they were willing to pay entrants for their work. I was totally in for it that and they sent me the package ( it was super light on what they actually wanted or needed... no list on genders or species or anything.... just a list of like alternate heads 3 outfits etc... ) Hence I went ahead and with the space theme they had mentioned I made an "alien avatar" along with several alternate outfits, heads accessories, backgrounds and such ( might post more in my scraps or another image )
Well long 'n short is I was passed over but apparently had the only super unique entry, and well knowing what I did with the character and the amount of time I out in I politely asked if i could retain all rights and keep him... and they said YES to me keeping and using him!

And so ExDee ( or initially spelled Exdi ) was brought into my roster and well after a long hiatus he's finally found a proper home and a slight redesign as a high speed racer in the new game I'm making!
But back to the drawing at hand here, on the top we have the base version of him.... that's naked!? we think.... along with a small flying mechanical robot pet, below we have him in a full on protective space suit, then more casual surf / beach ware and lastly a female or crossdressed version of sorts with a 1950's skirt and a beret. Also not pictured here is the various snouts a fez hair etc...

It's great to finally be working on him and giving him a more proper backstory planet history reason and more which I might divulge later when the demo is put out....
The other nice thing is all the drawings are vectorized and all interchangeable in a dress up situation which DID exist in flash at one point....
