Braden is a young (Age: 21) male scyther who aspires to become a respected acrobat. Here he is in his training grounds, a forest outside his house, practicing some techniques he learned online. That tree he is using as a base was downed by himself - safely, of course! - a few months ago. His form is still a bit shaky, but it's to be expected; he is an amateur, after all. For now, it'd be best to let him be, as he doesn't take too kindly to distractions when practicing. He's a lot more sociable outside of training.

"But FATAL," I hear you cry, "Insects cannot grow hair naturally!"

To that, I say two things: one, the laws of anatomical accuracy have not stopped the furry fandom before; and two - perhaps most importantly to note - it's a wig. As much as he adamantly claims it's natural, it's not. I just thought that short, silver hair would look cute on a scyther.

I was inspired to create a hand-balancing acrobat scyther after imagining what a pokemon version of America's Got Talent alumni Sofie Dossi or Christian Stoinev would look like - a combination of two of my greatest interests. He is the closest out of any of my OCs whom I could consider my "pokesona," as scyther is my favorite species of pokemon.

So yeah! My first time drawing a scyther! :D
