Several hundred years have passed since Kuro first obtained the stygian suit from the remains of the black dragon tribe's village. The world he was born into has become incredibly advanced since then. Kuro still wakes up everyday though, looks in the mirror and continues to find that he has not aged a single day since putting on the suit. Not only is the suit made of an indestructible material, it also appears to halt the aging process for the one who wears it. Over time, the suit has also changed in appearance; almost as if it is trying to fit in with the current time period it inhabits.
Kuro's soulmate, Shiro, has long since passed away. He has chosen to remain loyal to the griffin though, even after his death. Many have attempted to seduce the dragon over the years, but none have been able to convince him to move on. Kuro desperately wants to reunite with Shiro, perhaps in the afterlife, if such a thing exists. Removing the stygian suit from his body would continue the aging process and allow the dragon to end his lonely existence. However, the allure of a never-ending life makes it difficult for him to go through with it. The suit has allowed him to see more of the world than anyone could ever imagine He has been able to witness many different time periods and has been able to gain so much knowledge from them. There is still so much more he wants to experience and there is a strong desire to see just how advanced the world can become. Over time, the dragon has also developed an irrational fear of death. He does not know for sure what will happen after he dies and he always convinces himself to continue living. No matter how bad the loneliness gets, it is certainly better than a non-existence.
As one might expect, there are many organizations that are aware of the stygian suit and the powers it possesses. Kuro frequently finds himself under pursuit as a result. However, since only Kuro can remove the suit from his body and the suit will protect the dragon from any harm, these organizations prove to be nothing more than an annoyance. Kuro simply wanted to head to the local bar, have a few drinks and attempt to enjoy the entertainment provided by the new griffin dancer that was hired. However, he now has to spend his night trying to lose a pursuing vehicle instead.
Note from Kuro: The suit that Kuro is wearing was inspired by the Anti-Ock suit from Marvel Spider-Man on the PS4.
