Since they were living in Paris, Yonas had many responsibilities as Secretary. Tabor mainly went to school and did his homework. When It came to summer vacation, Yonas found a something for Tabor to do. Many of Frances Secretaries, Governor’s, Ambassadors and Officials were sending their sons to Versailles to learn how to be proper Gentlemen in Court.

There were two conditions that were required. The boys had to live at the Palace of Versailles and they all had to wear Suits and Ties. Tabor didn’t want to spend an entire summer at Versailles, but Yonas told him it would be a good learning opportunity and Tabor didn’t really have a say since he was set to leave the next day.

Yonas was told by the other fathers that once the boys were brought to Versailles, they would be examined by instructors and asked a few questions. The next Day, the front of Versailles was filled with cars, fathers were dropping of their sons, all of whome were dressed in suits and ties as instructed.

Tabor stepped out his fathers town car, dressed in a black two-piece suit with a single-breasted jacket, black shoes, white shirt and purple tie. Yonas had his driver take out Tabors suitcase, along with more dress suits. Tabor pulled on his shirt collar, then Yanos told him that after a while he would like it. After all the fathers left, the Boys were summoned into the palace and taken to a waiting area.

They all sat in chairs and the instructor announced they would be called in one at a time. The boys were told to remain in their seats until they were called and to keep silent. Tabor saw there were about nearly a hundred boys, all different animals. He watched as one tiger boy was called into another room, then the doors were shut behind him. Tabor continued to watch as the boys were called into the other room one at a time after a long gap.

For hours, Tabor sat in his chair, making uncomfortable expressions as he felt the stiffness of his suit. Tabor kept watching as the boys went into the other room until he was the only one left. He kept wondering how long they were gonna make him wait. Tabor could feel his suit getting tighter with each passing second.

He eventually heard the doors open and the instructor called Tabor inside.
