Well, the con is over, but the memories are forever. Like this one:

It's Saturday, the 25th of September, the weekend before the con. I get a call from Niles (the volunteer coordinator) during 2 Sense. I am not best pleased, but I answer my phone anyway. The conversation went like this:

Me: "You called me during 2 Sense! This had better be an emergency!"
Niles: "Well, it kinda is."
Me: "Okay. Are you bleeding?"
Niles: "Not yet, but I might be if we don't get a cover for the con book."
Me (while at the same time trying to keep up with 2 Sense, which I'm drawing a cover for): "What?"
Niles: "Stan Sakai was going to do a cover for us, but he didn't have the time. So now we're going to print and we need a cover!"
Me: *sighes heavily* "Okay, when do you need it by?"
Niles: "Uh… midnight?"

Long story short: I sketched this out during 2 Sense, threw it aside, drew the cover for 2 Sense, then painted it. I delivered it to Niles via email at 10:30. And thus his ass was saved… and now he owes me his soul. C:<
