This character reminds me of
Lei-Lani'e Leilani Perriere. But he isn't that hospitable, either. He blocked me just because I left a shout saying that his otter girl OC reminds me of Leilani Perriere. This writer is not what he seems, and I think he's unforgiving and sensitive. What a shame.
I couldn't help, but to share my experience and ferlings about Felldewan and this OC.

If I may be so bold, if the artist request that commentors refrain from having certain conversations on their page, we have to respect that whim, because this is their page. You can't willfully ignore a request and not have some sort of punitive response because of it. But, what I will say is this; when you comment on any piece (writing, art, etc) saying ONLY that what they have created looks like something someone else created, it's not really an appropriate comment. It's just hurtful, especially when the resemblance is coincidental. Yes, they do look similar, I agree. It even has a pose and a background similar to something that I made, but if I responded with that observation and nothing more, that would be unkind. You didn't say anything about the talent that went into making this illustration, you just basically told them that they copied someone else's work.
*sigh*
I want you to know that I am not attacking you. I think, perhaps you didn't know how your judgement of a creative work impacts the creator. It's upsetting when your only responses to something someone made is, that your art looks like someone else's. Let them know that their skill is appreciated. Tell them that they did a good job, the coloring is nice, the picture is pretty, the shading is great, ANYTHING that actually refers to the art itself, not a comparison to someone else's creations. That's what helps content creatures grow. If you have to make a comparison, at least supplement that criticism with a compliment. Unless it's a BLATANT copy (like they traced, for example, which is definitely bad if they don't credit the artist. I've had that happen to me, so I definitely understand the sentiment of someone copying someone else's work.), then don't chastise them, at least not solely. ^_^

You may not have told him that her copied, outright, it is what was implied by leaving a comment that only said, "your character looks like this other character". That didn't really speak to the artist's ability. What did you say, specifically? Also, being called a, child groomer is awful. Who called you that?
Felldewan's works are very good, and this otter girl is also awesome!
Speaking of being called "child groomer", this is just in case. Back in 2020, failing monster/robot girl animator, known as ZedrinBot, has called someone who got banned from the server a "potential child groomer" without providing any evidence, in his 2020 Discord server tweet. This is one of factors of my disillusionment from ZedrinBot's works due to his bizarre, questionable sense of justice.

I have known Felldewan for years as a close friend. He is a kind person. It’s just that many people have accused him of copying Lei Lani or compared the two… so… many… times. Many people come up with similar characters all the time but because Lei Lani is well known he has had literally countless messages about it. I’m sure he didn’t block you out of sensitivity or malice and he wouldn’t want you to be upset about it either. He probably just started cutting off people who started that same conversation because it became overwhelming for him. He barely uses this site anymore because it became such a source of stress.
I know you feel he was unfair but please trust me that he was probably doing what was healthiest for himself, because he was at his limit. Please don’t spread around that he isn’t forgiving or that he’s sensitive. You don’t know how much he took before it got this far. No conflict intended here, I’m just peacefully asking that you consider this and thank you very much for reading.
