God knows I enjoy clowns. This is my latest foray into this strange territory, he is a loose interpretation of a rodeo clown style. I read up on how rigorous and dangerous their work is, so it wouldn't be me running around with a bucking bull in the arena! I wanted to use a lot of color without it all clashing together. He has a lot of energy and is a fun loving guy, to play him for any real length of time I'd need to increase my stamina and endurance. I say that about a lot of characters these days!
For the record, the mask is a modified Zagone Studios Uncle Bob (redhead variety) that I added some clown paint touches to and glued on a separate beard, which is why it has a two tone look. The shirt I bought almost ten years ago off redbubble, the artwork is by
Van-weasel . Most of the costume is a motley collection of thrift finds, I did a heavy tea stain on the gloves and a moderate tea stain on the suspenders as they were a bright lemon yellow originally and I wanted to tamp them down a bit.

Now that T Shirt... where the heck did you find a puking dog or is it a lion print? So gross its funny. You did get the rodeo clown make up perfectly - been to enough Rodeos when I lived in Texas - used to drive some high school buddies to the Mesquite Rodeo - they wanted to ride bulls. Ended up driving them to the local hospital too after their rides...

Check this old post above, I bought this puking dog shirt and another one from redbubble many years ago, the art is from icon:van-weasel: and I waited for so long to finally come up with a character that would wear this! I tried the redbubble link in my old post but it no longer works, you could contact Van Weasel directly and inquire about whether they still sell these shirt designs. They do superlative monsters and creatures and are unafraid of going grungy and gross!
What little I read up on rodeo clowns and aspiring bull-riders is that you have to really want to do this and risk your health and life for that super rush. I'm a bit old and risk averse to actually want to try this line of adventure, but the bulls aren't harmed so it's primarily the humans who bare the brunt of the damage. If this is their desire they should have the chance to pursue it!
