"Well then, any words of wisdom before we get going?"
"Yeah, try not to die"
Heh, working through inktober together with my sister kinda got us both in the mood for more art challenges and instead of looking up other themed month challenges we decided to come up with our own~
So this is a challenge I like to call Busy person's art challenge: You have one month to create a single art piece, subject and medium can be anything you want. The catch is that you can work on the piece for a maximum of one minute per day, so for march it's 31 minutes in total to get to a finished piece. Planning, preparing, sketching stuff on separate paper you're free to do as much as you want but once any tool touches your main work you gotta end it for the day after a minute.
So with rules like that this is what I ended up with, Sen and Eri readying up to face a Colossus. The start was certainly the trickiest part with this challenge, I usually work slowly so had to plan meticulously to be able to put enough of the base composition down in the first minute. Buut as the days rolled by it got easier and easier to dissect the whole workload into comfortable, minute-long chunks, and despite stepping out of my comfort zone with some environmental work too I'm content with the end results. It might've taken the whole month but for a "quick" 30-minute sketch piece I'm quite happy with it.
(also don't get too attached to the design of the Colossus, I'm not sold on it yet so will be revising it for future appearances)
