Here's another quickie started while on a trip, which I wanted to finish up before moving to the next bigger coloured piece. And I wanted to shape up that world and story setting I've been working on with some secondary characters, so here are Poe and Viz, two blessed going on their own adventures in the same world as Sen and Eri.
Poe is one of the youngest Blessed and became one by accident, unknowingly consuming essence. As a Blessed Poe can 'step' over long distances in the blink of an eye, teleporting anywhere and everywhere at will. A handy ability for sure for a thief and a burglar, since as a lowest class resident of New Hold, the largest settlement on the continent Poe has to constantly fight tooth and nail to get by. Possibly a little naive, Peo thinks of himself as the modern Robin Hood, striking out against the corrupt people in power to make the lives of him and his peers more manageable.
Viz is a wandering trader and craftsman, travelling between settlements and offering his mechanical goods and engineering expertise to earn his keep. Viz's home settlement got annihilated by a Colossus, an incident which also left his face disfigured, and had to relocate to a secluded location away from the rest of the world. Due to this Viz is much more comfortable travelling the world as he favours pondering mechnical marvels over farming land, and seldom returns home to his family with his earnings. Viz's Blessing, the ability to create any kind of noise in his vicinity, is a closely guarded secret as Viz prefers if people think of him as just your everyday traveller instead of a superpowered monster.
I also got asked about the symbols, I might be thinking of some form of unique language for the setting but before that's more thought out think of them as the unique signature of each person.
(Designs are likely to change over time along with any names and terms, but it was still fun to get the initial ideas for these boys sketched up, hopefully we can see more of both of them before long)
