I was looking through my old work again, this time from 2020, and I felt the need to share the visual development art I'd made based off of Watership Down during that year. I've long since shared the final renders of the characters I designed during that time, but I haven't shown the other small heap of stuff I'd completed. So? Here it be.

Starting off with some environmental design. This was the style I'd stick with for Frith fables/El-ahrairah tales. The set dressings are just graphical icons that utilize photo textures, but what I most like is the empty scene itself. The text of one of the book's El-ahrairah stories is present in every element of the landscape.
