Poor Eris is finding herself again in an embarrassing situation....
Cam had been on his business for what seemed like ages. Though realistically it'd been 2 weeks. The longest they had been apart since they met. She had done relatively fine on her own, his advice on growth and getting out had helped tremendously. Her last growth accident being nearly 5 months ago.
Her phone buzzed on the table next to her. It was a slow Saturday night, she didn't order DoorDash though. Leaning over it was a text from Cam. "Coming home" it read. Her heart jumped, this was early! She replied fast " WHAT!" In all caps. She felt flighty. He replied again, her heart racing. Was he landing soon, was he leaving his state? Where was he?
That flighty feeling lerched though. She was going to grow! She thought quickly, sitting down. She mentally cast a spell Yuri had taught her, protective growth. This time she wouldn't hurt anyone. She hoped it work, though too late to hope as she grew fast. Her head ripping through floor after floor, her paws shooting out, smashing the road up as they slid.
Her right leg hit something, though once her nose had pushed through enough flooring she saw it was the newly built apartments across the way. She signed, letting loose her phone. At least the spell worked. But, now she needed a new place, again. What would Cam think?

I know, it would be so much easier than jsut having normals in a suburb, always having to drive to get ANYWHERE where as shifters can just go up, walk for a minute or two, come back down and be at the destination in no time, though if its raining I imagine some might not be entirely keen on it sometimes
Ahh what an absolutely fantastic picture with an equally wonderful story! I simply adore sudden growth scenes and this has gotta be on of my favorites! As always your level of detail is just second to none. All your attention to detail wonderfully shows of this (unintentional) destruction! Wonderful work, as always
