Another early birthday surprise from my good friend

. Thank you, you guys! I really love it.
It looks like Marshall's mommy, Laura, has been very busy cooking all day in the kitchen. She was making up a chocolate cake for Marshall's birthday, and Laura used plenty of chocolate for the special occasion. In fact, she had plenty of leftover melted chocolate to give to Marshall. So she poured the remaining chocolate into a bowl and gave it to Marshall.
Once Marshall got his paws onto the bowl, he started dipping his paws into the chocolate and started to lick his paws into his mouth. The chocolate was still warm and it tasted so good, Marshall continued to dip his paws into the bowl at a more quicker speed than before.
However, as Marshall tried to lick off the chocolate as quickly as possible, he got a little carried away, and started to make a huge mess as he finished up the bowl. Soon enough, Marshall had melted chocolate all over his face, his cheeks, his nose, a few drops on his chest, and on his diaper too! But Marshall paid no attention to the mess he's making as he continued to lap up the remaining chocolate from the bowl.
Thankfully, Laura checked on Marshall just in time. "Well." Laura replied. "It looks like someone enjoyed the free chocolate. And now the little fox is going to have a free bath as well!" But Marshall didn't mind getting that free bath. As he played around in the bathtub filled with warm water and soap bubbles, Marshall smiled and said to himself, "It was so worth it!" as he played with his rubber ducky while Laura gently scrubbed Marshall's back with a soft brush.
This pic reminds me of a real life incident as a young boy, and it involves chocolate. Somewhere during the mid 70's, early 80's, there was a chocolate bar known as "The Marathon Bar". It was a foot long candy bar made with milk chocolate and chewy caramel.
The motto for the Marathon Bar was "It lasts a good long time", which unfortunately... wasn't. I remember trying a few of those Marathon Bars, but I never got to finish them. The caramel was so chewy, TOO chewy for its own good, that once you get to the middle of the bar, the chocolate, along with the caramel, would melt rapidly, leaving a real gooey mess in your hands.
Since the Marathon Bar didn't live up to its name as lasting a good long time, the Marathon Bar quickly vanished from the candy aisles somewhere in 1982.
