Ravey did everything he could, to get Aylin settled into his home and circle of friends as quickly as possible. He happily showed her the many new things and explained how they worked or were to be used. He also enjoyed the beautiful togetherness with Aylin. Enjoyed the deep feelings of love he shared with her.
It had been two weeks since he and Aylin had embarked on his adventure beyond the borders of the world of Draco. And small aftershocks of this trip still reverberated. But that didn't mean there wouldn't be any more adventures for the two of them.
The next one was already waiting around the next corner. Because Ravey had told his parents that he wanted to introduce someone special to them...
A special liking for wild ones
HEAVENS GATE, August. 24th. 2021
Dawn was already glowing faintly on the horizon, shimmering toward the glowing metropolis. The flickering neon lights of the Heavens Gate skyline faded slowly as the sun rose. At a shallow angle, the golden rays fell through the high window front onto the polished wooden floor of Ravey's apartment and reflected lightly against the walls. A faint rush of water echoed through the rooms and came from the bathroom.
With his head bowed, Ravey sat under the wide shower head and breathed in and out in a relaxed manner. The warm water trickled down his dark gray scales, back and wings. Enjoying it, he stretched his nose into the gentle jets of water. This pleasant feeling spread fluently over the pale scales of his chest and abdomen. A darker ring pattern ran down the flanks, which was also visible on the sides of the neck and tail.
Snorting, Ravey turned out of the shower and as soon as he had left the area, the flow of water stopped by itself. He stood dripping on the platform in front of the mirror and at the same moment narrow ventilation slots opened above him. A warm, but also powerful current of air blew down over his scales from above. With slightly spread wings he stood in the breeze and let his body dry. He tapped expertly on the blinking symbol in the lower left corner of the mirror and the hum of the fan stopped as quickly as it had appeared. The ventilation slits closed again without a sound. Standing sideways, he looked calmly into the illuminated mirror surface and the faint shimmer in his green-blue eyes. A few last drops of water still clung on the dark brown chin spikes and the massive horns. The pendant on his silver chain also gave the reflection a slight sparkle. With a confident smirk, he nodded and winked once before leaving the bathroom.
Still a little tired, he cocked his head slightly as he walked back to his bedroom. He stood in the doorway of the darkened room and took a step inside. He placed a paw on the wall panel and ran a clawed finger lightly up the glazed surface. The blackout in the front window grew noticeably lighter, letting in some of the morning sunlight. The illuminated facades of the tall outbuildings could also be seen.
With a dreamy look, Ravey looked at the wide bed. The golden light climbed over the fluffy blanket and the many pillows, gently tickling a darkly scaly nose out of the slumber. With a cute twitch, she let out a slight snort and rolled onto her other side, legs outstretched. Darker stripes showed up on the front and hind legs and the wing arms. She had darker spots over the flanks and back. Her abdomen was characterized by lighter scale plates and the transitions to the flanks were defined on both sides with a violet line, which reached over the entire length of her body to the tip of the tail. The tip looked like a narrow fin and had five parallel black lines on each side, which were surrounded by this violet color. Her slightly curved horns were the same striking color, lightening toward the tips. And also distributed over her back, individual purple blobs showed up. As she turned, she spread her wings slightly and momentarily showed the shimmering seas of stars on the insides of the flight membranes. A violet shadow moved within it, flickering. Turning around, she immediately snuggled up against one of the larger pillows. With both paws she pulled it to her chest and snuggled her face into the soft fabric, purring softly. Her ears twitched up slightly and a single golden earring also shone on the left ear wing.
"Two weeks..." Ravey thought grumbling to himself while still looking at the graceful dragoness on his bed.
For two weeks and a few unforgettable days, she had been now a part of his life and his world.
It had been two weeks, since his brief adventure beyond the border of the world of Draco. An unknown event had thrown him into the stranger world of Daracoss and spit him out in the midst of a raging storm. He had absolutely nothing to oppose the dangerous thunderstorm and miraculously survived his fall. Because to his surprise, he got unexpected help from someone. Still, he feared he was stuck there forever, with no hope of a way back.
With a low grumble, Ravey stepped closer to the bed and looked down at the sleeping dragoness. But his gaze got stuck on the scarf lying on the floor in front of the sleeping place. Curved letters were embroidered. Aylin-Ashira was written on the fabric. He lowered his head and carefully snapped at it with his maw. Having picked it up, he carried it to the wide chest of drawers next to the wardrobe. He spread it out on it and looked again at the curved embroidery on it. Then he turned back to the sleeping place, cooing.
He slowly climbed onto the mattress and lay down next to her. He ran his nose gently over her cheek and licked her forehead affectionately, which made her snort softly. This magical being saved him from the storm and helped him to find his way in this new and strange world. Thanks to her, he finally found a way back to his home world Draco.
There was an amorous gleam in his eyes as he continued to watch her. There were only a few days, they had spent together, but in that short time she was able to arouse unexpected and intense feelings in him. It was the first time Ravey had felt that way about someone. This attraction was immensely strong and luckily on both sides, because they fell in love with each other. But unconsciously there was also a dark shadow over this wonderful connection, because at the end of his adventure, they had to say goodbye to each other painfully.
Ravey let out a faint snort as he recalled the moment, and a single tear glistened on his closed eyelids. He was all the more amazed, relieved and grateful at the same time, when she nevertheless accompanied him to Draco. For a long time, he looked at the slight shimmer of the violet color and let his gaze slide over her graceful body. She chose to live by his side, sacrificing her former homeland and her magic, which does not exist in Draco. Her access was sealed as she passed through the portal.
Slightly dejected, he looked back at the cloth on the dresser. She now had only a few keepsakes of her former home, because she didn't had the time to pack anything big at that moment. All she took with her was, what she had with her at the time: her marking ribbon embroidered with her name and the symbol of her clan. The gold earring that adorned her left ear wing. Her small, sturdy leather shoulder bag with some coins in it. To be on the safe side, Ravey had stowed them in the safe in his study, because the engraved copper, silver and gold coins are now probably worth a lot more.
However, these were not the most valuable things for her. With a soft coo, Ravey's gaze swept further to the side and fell on a thin, oblong vase with a single red rose in it. It was just a small gift after buying the earring, which had unexpectedly changed after crossing into this world. The flower has not withered since that day and seemed frozen in time. The petals open and close with the rise and fall of the sun, whether outside or not. In a darkened room, there is also a faint glow in the red color. Almost like the purple markings on her body sometimes do. A cheerful smile appeared at the corners of his mouth and with a soft snort his gaze swiveled back to the dragoness.
Ravey lowered his head and gently nudged her cheek with his nose. Awakened by the touch, she dreamily opened her lids and the breathtaking shimmer of her violet eyes sparkled at him. Purring, she immediately leaned her forehead against his and nestled her flank against his warm body. "Good morning, my firefly," he greeted her quietly. She pulled him tight with her paws and pressed her scales onto his, humming. He felt the gentle vibrations and covered her with his wings while looking deep into her eyes. "Who do we have here?" she asked playfully and quickly tongued his nose. "I'm guessing your idiot?" he replied lovingly, leaning more against her. Purring, she rubbed her paws over the scale plates of his chest. "I really like that one," she added softly, nuzzling his with her nose.
Eyes half-closed, he snorted weakly into her pretty face, drowning in the magical shimmer that shone at him in love. "You should get ready," Ravey began, pulling his head back slightly. "I promised her we'd come by before lunchtime,".....
