Drake Breaux is another wonderful character created by Lanny and is a part of the every-expanding ‘Lannyverse’. He is a character intended to pal around with Yosh when the diapered dino-duckling is in the city of Baywater, which is part of ‘The Lannyverse’, during those times Yosh’s family is visiting with the family of his platypus cousin, Penelope.

It has taken me far longer than I would have liked to get to working with Drake, Penelope, Cody, Lanny, Phoebe, and other characters within ‘The Lannyverse’ to the extent that I wanted to. This is why I’m dedicating time to fleshing out these characters, their stories, and how they are a part of Yosh’s canon life.

NOTE TO OTHER PALS:
There are a number of other stories that I have really wanted to add more content to. These include Asher and Meezoo’s world of cartoon fun that has become ‘Adventures in Sunnybrook Park’. There is also the ‘Fallen Angel’ and ‘Team Quack’ tales in which are delightful works that I’ve been doing with Ari / Saphy. Other series I need to get to include, but are not limited to, Sweetie Lover / The Padded Princess of the Foals fan canon for ‘My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic’ in which feature his OC dragon, Goldigony, and Sweetie Belle as an ascended Alicorn whom dedicates her life to protecting foals of all ages as ‘The Padded Princess’ / ‘Flashy Nappy’.

Thanks to everyone, including Tacki, Lucca, Oxnard, Yip, and Leon, for your patience. Soon, as I ensure I do not falter in my progress, I look forward to doing a lot more trades, commissions, and git stories. I’ve got my quack back and intend to utilize all my mental health techniques to ensure I do not fall so far behind ever again.

DRAKE BREAUX:
You’ll all get to know Drake a bit more in the forthcoming story that I am going to start writing tomorrow. He is one very plucky duck who is far from being daffy. He and Yosh get into quite the mischief for how both love being in the water while doing semi-supervised play around the Breaux family home.

As you’d guess, Yosh’s family met Drake’s family through Penelope’s family. Penelope is older than Drake, but they get along just fine. The Breaux family and Platts family met at a restaurant just off the highway / interstate outside of Baywater. Both families just happened to be out spending time with extended family and friends when their paths crossed on their way back to their homes. (Baywater has more than one off-ramp / exit due to how it developed multiple economic centers based upon its location to the ocean, highway, and tourism.).

Despite living in two different parts of the same city, Penelope and Drake found themselves becoming fast friends. This lead to the parents of both children knowing that future playdates had to happen. As Yosh is a dino-duck hybrid, it only made sense for the three families to come together so they could do their ‘adult things’ as their children played-and-played themselves into long and restful bedtimes.
