I love that the more he plays this game the more he does not listen to the voice in his head.

The voice in his head is anxiety. The "game" is actually called the 5-4-3-2-1-method which can help someone come out of an anxiety attack.

ahhh, classic therapy technique for dealing with anxiety. she has to be specially trained in this stuff. gosh i just love her so much though. she's so comforting and kind. i've imagined characters like her before, to help get me through tough times. i love that she doesn't judge or criticise, letting him know he's not at fault for having these feelings, nor is he at fault for struggling to deal with them. just helping lift him out of them, so he's in a better place to talk all this through. i really feel for the poor guy, since i've had moments like that all the time. he'll be able to articulate himself better once he's out of the anxiety zone, so there's not this sudden obsessing over certain aspects.

i didn't expect the story to go in this direction, but i'm glad it did. you've been doing great work with this.

I wasn't aware of this game so Stealther taught me something, but its double genius because it's making him start to actually notice the room he's in for the first time, he's been ragging on himself the whole time about how shameful it is that she had to change him but he hasn't even noticed what this room in her house is.

This is something my partner does with me when I'm having a negative spiral or a panic attack.
It really works.
