I’ve had this concept bubbling in my brain: how can I make a shark more scalie? As a sea snake dragon of course! Jashai’s design already goes well with that of the yellow bellied sea snake (Hydrophis platurus), banded sea krait (Laticauda colubrina) and mangrove snake (Boiga dendrophila divergens). Add a draconic base for extra magical flare, some colorful tiger shark (Galeocerdo cuvier) stripes for extra contrast and viola! Jashai, in her dragon form, also decided to never have a bad hair day ever again by replacing her standard hair with purple jellyfish (Pelagia noctiluca) stingers and reef squid (Sepioteuthis sepioidea) tendrils for extra protection, durability and added utility. I really like sea creatures, venomous snakes, dragons and venomous animals, so this new design I feel puts all of these concepts I had and puts them into a cohesive form. The photo is of a boardwalk at the beach through sea grape and mangrove trees that I thought would go pretty well with Jashai’s overall aesthetic
