This is my toughest time making word balloons in MS Paint. So I REALLY need the help of my watchers before I upload everything I did here to DA tomorrow. So do the word balloons flow correctly to you without needing any numbers and such or do you actually do need them to follow the conversation? Also is it okay to have the word balloons connect to the characters at different points of their dialogues? Basically Felicity's 1st word balloon is connected to her while Meri's last word balloon is connected to her, does that bring confusion or is that alright? I really need feedback on this to see if what I did alright and okay and not just obnoxious.
Writing of obnoxious, seeing Felicity wearing the golden bracelet that matches her earring, Meri feels like she was being this way to her official sister. The thing is, is that Meri was always the one leading the charge of things and Felicity normally just tags along for whatever fun Ventures out in the Human World, Our World.
Oh yeah, there was an important thing that I completely forgot to add in this conversation but as you can see there really wasn't enough room in there. Anyway, what was important that about Meri's powers is that she kinda learned to master her illusion magic to a few select others to a point that even though that both of them are cartoon cat girls right now, everyone who doesn't know them or isn't magical in some way, will only see them as humans. I wanted Felicity to mention that, but I felt it was more important to have her point out her understanding of why her sister is so much happier being in these furry forms as opposed to being a human. I felt it was more important to point out that, as long as it was Meri's idea, she's totally with being Cartoon Felicity from RBUK and in some way kinda finds it fun to be her somewhat cartoon counterpart as well since it makes Meri happy as well.
Back to Meri's Guilt, she's always known that Felicity was not exacty happy being in those cartoon cat forms alot of time, especially since Succubi are not supposed to take on these forms in the first place. But like I wrote in an earlier pic it's not that they're not allowed to do this, it's just super weird socially and kind of risky as walking in their true demon forms, meaning they CAN do these things but it's really weird even for demons. Anyway, whenever Meri does her actual job in the human world as a human, she always takes a chance to invite Felicity to hang out with her and do some sisterly fun things out in the free Mortal World. Now that she has a boyfriend, she can pretty much enjoy these pleasures until the guy she's with dies. Although for Felicity, she never expected that when Meri does find a fiancé, she'll be doing these fun sister activities with her disguised as cartoon cats. But Meri kinda inadvertently proves to Felicity in their hangouts why Meri is considered a beloved sister among Succubi kind, her happiness makes the other Succubi happy.
Felicity has always known that Meri felt trapped being a Succubus and unable to find true happiness in her job as one, especially when she's seeking true love as well. But she never understood how much of it was related to her being actually different to everyone rather than just her being a demon. At first she thought Meri was being taken advantage of a guy using her powers to be a cartoon cat all the time, so she never really understood why it actually makes her sister happy be one. That is until after enough time hanging out with her sister as one herself, she finally understood it was more about being different and the freedom to be different.
Meri kinda did the former on accident, but she was really happy to share her differences with someone and to have someone who love her for being different. Felicity came to understand the former that this is something Meri was looking for to finally start liking the demon part of her and finally start to be happy with herself while her boyfriend fulfilled the latter of someone who loves her for being different. This is what Felicity meant by Meri looking free now and even by then she still hasn't lost the core aspect of her personality of caring about others.
This is technically why Meri felt guilty about having Felicity do the whole cartoon cat girl hang outs with her and wants to do something to make Felicity happy again and something she misses herself. One of the main things they do when they hang out, is have tea together and talk about what they've been up to for awhile. That will be a picture I will do or have someone do later.
Anyway... again, I think in some way I kinda made Meri into someone who's a representation of someone finding their fursona and wanting to be that fursona all the time. But it's also more about being different and having friends and loved ones who accept you for being different and willing to share that difference with you to some degree while at the same time share and accept the differences of other people you care about as well. It's kind of funny, in a way she's a newcomer to the furry fandom who find the fursona parts really fascinating to wanting to share this with others and she's very lucky to have a sister who doesn't completely understand her new interest but is happy to do what it takes to make her happy, even if it makes her uncomfortable a little bit.
On a side note: I think it's kinda neat accident that I have Felicity as Cartoon Felicity from RBUK is considered to be the younger sister to Cat Bee from Poppy's Playtime who is "played" by Meri whose character's toy line is technically started in much earlier than the existence of RBUK if Poppy's Playtime was real in our world. It's somewhat of a strange irony I guess that both Felicity and Cat Bee are obscure Cat Bug Girl characters from obscure franchises are pretty fitting as sisters.
