A bear does need a certain stockiness and an ample belly to ensure that he'll be ready for the winter and it also means that there's plenty more area for a dragon's devious claws to tickle. I'm sure Gonter will be working over every inch of that belly to draw the maximum amount of laughter from a ticklish bear.
