Mortal bodies aren't meant to be host for an eldritch avatar for more than a few weeks without signs beginning to show.
Mostly this starts for Punch when their pupils start looking less like circles and more like a certain eldritch entity's star eyes. Next their teeth start growing in size slowly, eventually to the point it gets harder to hide. Their hair begins to take on a longer, floaty appearance and a familiar orange glow, then their eyes begin glowing.
Up next if they don't finally let go of their host and send out the hoodie again is a wide grin they can't really stop and a chaotic mania. But it's always such a hassle to wait for someone to stumble upon the hoodie again and it takes a day or so to get used to a new body, and then finding a way back home...
...Can I risk another day or so?
