After taking his own shoes and socks off Alex put Tails' Gloves & Shoes on his hands and feet he quickly picks up the Chaos Emerald and knowing of it's amazing ability to turn mere thoughts into power he says...
"I wish I could be Tails and go to his world and have adventures with all his friends, especially Sonic the Hedgehog!"
As soon as he said that both he and the Chaos Emerald glow in a yellow light as he closes his eyes and thinks that he could even be Tails not only in body but mind as well, knowing all his powers and abilities too.
