Personality
Lime is typically a little reserved and nervous, but otherwise very friendly and glad to be of any help. A cheekier side comes out when around friends, but otherwise they’re very respectful and agreeable - sometimes to their detriment. Lime has a bit of trouble saying no a lot of the time and that can lead to them either having to do things they don’t want to, or just getting stuck in less than desirable situations.

Bio
Lime comes from a grotto of slimes, and lived with them for many years, but the other slimes were very antagonistic, while Lime was much less confrontational and believed that any situation could be overcome by talking it through and being friendly. The other slimes did not see eye to eye with Lime, so Lime made the hard decision to leave their family behind.
Now they work at a bar (restaurant?), one whose patrons are typically of the more “horrific” persuasion, or stranger creatures in general (Lime’s coworkers are also a vampire bat, gargoyle, werewolf and a fox witch, for example). Lime meets Remy and the gang when Remy takes Bubblegum to the bar; despite not being able to drink, Remy thought the sentient pooltoy would feel more at home amongst similarly strange creatures. Though, another occurrence between Remy and Lime bring them closer together than they otherwise would have anticipated…
Nonetheless Lime continues to work at the bar/restaurant/whatever, curious to meet the different people who pass through, and maybe offer a helping hand wherever they can.

Abilities/characteristics
Sticky!
- a very sticky slime. Though Lime themself doesn’t struggle much with getting stuck to things, other people and objects cling to the slimy critter like glue.
Malleable!
- Lime’s slimy nature means it’s able to take various shapes, though they’re not that great at holding them for any longer than a minute or so, and they’re not very good at replicating the image of others either. Their antennae do not shift along with the rest of their body. They can be stretched out, or they can be compacted into small spaces (bottles, jars, drawers etc).
Kleptomaniac! Kinda.
- Lime can absorb items into their body, where they will remain until they choose to spit them back out (this is often a long process). It doesn’t do this forcefully, though - most objects in its body at any time are the result of an accident. Potentially, people can also become trapped within Lime’s gooey body, too (don’t worry, they don’t dissolve or suffocate. It’s just very inconvenient.)
Colour change!
- Lime is green by default but absorbing different liquids will cause them to take on a different colour - water turns their slimy body clear, for example, while different sodas/soft drinks will change their colour appropriately. This is temporary and usually wears off after a few hours.

Other tidbits:
- while malleable, Lime is not very strong. Cram them into a bottle and screw the lid on and they won’t be able to burst free - perfect if they need time out. Which they should never because they’re a good slime.
- Very slow. Lime’s slug-like appearance slows them down, and they typically slither at about half, maybe 5/8 of the walking speed of a regular person.
- Like Dragon Quest slimes, Lime has the tendency to drag their “oo” sounds out a bit when saying words such as fooood, mooood, poooo, booooo and its favourite Pokémon, Wooooper.
- Lime was originally created to fit into my OC’s RPG AU, but I haven’t really done much with that (yet) so y’know. Whatever lmao
- Lime is a better slime creature than B.O.B. from Monsters VS Aliens and this is objective fact because Lime is not voiced by Seth Rogen
- Despite the name, Lime actually tastes more like Mountain Dew.
