Welcome to the fray...
Very nice submission. I'll set aside my prejudice of pencil/paper being my favorite medium and comment based on my knowledge and perspective:
The piece is well done overall - a nice change from the usual faire on FA (that means its good). You have a talent for capturing the emotion and personality of the subject. You've either taken a live-drawing course (the first thing any artist should do) or you don't need to. You've got a good basis going there, don't stray from it (you'll be pressured to here, don't bow to it.)
I love the paws. That's a style that I like a lot and wish there was more of. The only thing I would suggest is to be yourself with regards to digitigrade/plantigrade. Most people think digitigrade looks good, but for an anthropomorphic bipedal creature, its completely impractical. Something to consider.
My only complaint is the composition. You have a foot and hand in the same angle and the overhead view of the paws seems to be a weakness in your skills as they just don't look quite right. The fact that they're forced to be the same angle by the pose and position of viewer serves to amplify this. Try a slightly different angle to avoid the problem, but also to keep the perspective more natural looking (yes, I know its a natural pose and its just the angle its viewed, but that's the nature of composition - to avoid clumbsy angles, etc. I would also suggest doing a study on paws in different angles, especially the overhead angle. It's not necessarily about accurate portrayal so much as making it look natural.
Anyway, I hope that was helpful. Great skills, and I hope to see more from you. I don't watch anyone so don't be offended if I miss future submissions. It doesn't mean I'm not interested.
