I'm not entirely sure why I'm on the ground here; probably because I made a sexual innuendo one too many times.

See, the angle on this picture is from the ground. Presumably, I was put there after saying for the fifteenth time that night that 'the wild things come out during a full moon' or some such.

Ah, lol. I'd have put a street and made the light source a lamp if I had my tablet... Won't have that till Xmas. >.< I can't draw at all with my mouse, just color. The idea was more like, "Come on, race ya there!"

...To which I would immediately reply "Competitive little minx, aren't ya? Alright, if you want to be that way, I'm up for... Where'd you go?"

Heeey, I hope you enjoyed giving her some colour I really like the scenery you picked and how you gave the thing some context, that was really lacking in my version

it's really good for a first attempt at shadowing, you kept the light source in mind and it fits :) I think you could be more experimenting with it, dare to really put in some definite shadows! Hard-edged, dark ones, not only a soft big brush. Just dare to go for it, it'll have an amazing effect, and that way you will learn exactly where shadows belong and where they look wrong and odd :) I also really like how you made the shadow parts of her clothes look less colour-intense, but I'd make them darker as well, otherwise they might come out lighter and look confusing.

Still I really enjoyed seeing this, thanks for showing me and I hope you had fun doing it

Alright, I will. ^^ Thanks for taking the time to reply, it means a lot to me. =3 Now that my tablet is in the mail, I'll be able to start drawing with more then just my mouse. It was really fun to color your work; please let me know if you ever have more lineart!

I also didn't realise it was just your mouse and not a tablet so: Woah, good job
I remember the times when I only drew with a mouse.. and before that when I drew with a Laptop trackpoint.. that's too annoying though, I didn't do it long and I wouldn't recommend it ;)

Anyway, respect for that, it's great that you do it under all conditions ;)
More lineart is always in my scraps folder if you're interested, feel free to dig around
If you see a picture in my gallery and there's no lineart it's worth a try to ask and I might upload it for you, but old pictures that are on my old computer won't be available until I'm back home.. which.. might take a few months ;)

Anyway, thanks for doing this and I'd always be interested to see some more results
