I’d grown so afraid of abandonment over the last few years. Visitations had grown so rare that I couldn’t help but think my friends and family had given up on me… and despite my best efforts, I’d always feared that you would do the same. If you were freed… would you leave me behind like so many others? I was so afraid of being alone… spending the rest of my life buried alive in a plaster coffin, unable to tell someone that I couldn’t take it anymore; that the loneliness was killing me more than any accident ever could.
These feelings had persisted for so long… but as we sipped our meal-replacement shakes, something changed. As your tail wagged playfully in my lap… I looked into your eyes and realized that you understood. A cruel twist of fate had left our bodies broken beyond repair… trapping our tortured figures in plaster prisons and putting our lives on an indefinite hold. The pain from our shattered bones, the humiliating helplessness, and the fear that we’d spend the rest of our lives confined to our hospital beds… We endured this suffering together.
That moment felt so intimate… staring into each other’s eyes, sharing our emotions, and speaking a silent language that only we could understand. We’ve never spoken a word to one another… but your affectionate glance said more than words ever could. So I hope you know how much it means to me… to finally know that you would stay.

WingCommanderRudoji recently made a really great picture of my OC Willow from the POV of his character Rudoji:

I couldn't help but make a picture to go alongside it - taking place at the same moment but from Willow's POV. I don't usually draw from this angle, so it was a fun challenge. Plus, I can't get enough of Willow and Rudoji all wrapped up in their full body casts x) as always, comments, questions, and feedback are greatly appreciated! I really enjoy hearing what y’all think of the pictures (especially when I'm trying out new angles/styles).

I'm glad you like it! I really enjoyed the style/angle of your picture, so this was a fun one to draw.
Ru has definitely been through a lot. Years in a full body cast would have anyone feeling melancholy. Glad these casted roommates have each other for support x)
Great job with your recent pics by the way, they've been looking great!
