A little somethin' somethin' that's way overdue. The proper bio for Tique Natutaya, known also as Red.
It took some actual sitting, thinking and then doing to finally churn this one out after an eternity of this character having sprung into existence to begin with.... She now has a story. And a name! Howabout that!
Anyways, here's good ol' Red, her story, to go along with the imminent reference sheet, also long in the making.

Born and raised in a hunter tribe, Red hails from a long line of Tribal Kriat Chektu.
Chektu, in Kriat tongue, though other cultures may know them as medicine men or witch doctors.
They are held in the highest reverence among Tribal Kriat, with each tribe splinter having their own Chektu.
They are active in every fascet of their respective tribe's dealings, often sitting in on counsel and meetings for opinions where needed.
They utilize herbs and animal flesh, dust and stone to create any number of concoction for healing, zeal, or many other spiritual necessities.
The Chektu read the weather, believed to have a sense of the wind, rain and earth.
They even officiate tribal tournaments and battles.
Though their abilities and powers may dip into the realm of the supernatural, Science has mostly boiled these so-called powers down to little more than the potent mixtures they create, having genuine healing properties with some even holding psychedelic effects.
Even still, some things even the most advanced tech hasn't been able to explain.

Being a member of a long line of Chektu, Red was taught almost every duty of every tribe member and expected from a young age to carry out the responsibilities where needed alongside her clansmen. This alone was meant to instruct as well as teach the value of every member and the duties they had.
On top of this, she was taught and trained in the rituals and expectations of the Chektu who came before her.
Red excelled in her activities, proud of herself, her service and most of all, proud of her people and her predecessors.
The years went on, and as she grew, like many Kriat of their home planet, Red longed for more than what the centuries of ritual had to offer. It was a moment of great thought, split between the life she knew, her proud responsibilities and what could be.
Of course, when the thought creeped in, she was reluctant to follow it, to follow the stars and step out into a vast, ocean of black unknown to her people, surely she'd be swallowed up. But Red was nothing is not steadfast and tenacious. She had an undying feeling that no matter what happened, she'd find her way, even if she had to draw her own map.
She set offworld on a Taas ship, the SAA Emissary, which frequently ferried their people on or off planet to a nearby floatilla to choose her destination.
While not initially smiled upon by her parents, D'junna and Kandu, her will to leave was seen with such passion and fire that they eventually relinquished to her constant requests to leave the planet and responsibilities of her forebears to fulfil her future.
Her mother wished her well, stating that she had already seen that she would leave, and where she would find herself in her travels. Her father simply gifted her a charm and some family trinkets and bade her a fond farewell.
Once she set off, Red traveled the stars for three years on both the SAA Starkindle, and the SAA Shadow Ember, learning all she could from her people as they hopped from planet to planet.
Being the studious sort, Red picked up much about the ships, the technology and the worlds they visited, and she picked it up quickly.
While she still spoke with her tribal accent, and often substituted common speech words for their tribal equivalent, and her tribal markings set her appearance apart from her Taas counterparts, Red quickly fit right in, making herself useful in many different sections of the ships she stayed in for the interim.
Visiting planet side is often interesting, especially for one who's spent so little time taking in the sights and cultures, everything is new, exciting, brightly lit and colored, if not noisy and somewhat overwhelming at times. Though, on a particular voyage, Red was approached by Ivaak Vicor, a talent scout for a modeling agency. After some conversation, she simply handed over her card and inquired what she'd like to do with her life now that she was out among the people.
Out of curiosity, Red checked in on the contact information to find the talent agency was renowned on an interplanetary scale. They signed her to contract immediately.
As the years went by, Red's popularity on the modeling circuits only grew, she became one of the most sought after models in her field, called in for any number of high ranking brands, helping to develop a brand of her own. Eventually, after growing in the industry, starting and running her own successful deepnet streams she began to accept high paying jobs for major weapons manufacturers, slowly gravitating toward contracts of exclusivity modeling weapons and armor.
As fashion goes, Red has as much knack for it as most other things she tends to study to excel at, to the point that, in addition to her standard contract fees, in time she developed an additional consultation contract. She's sought after by many brands to evaluate prototype models and early drafts for both form and functionality.
This eventually led to studying in the fields of engineering and energy physics to aid in her consultation endeavors, and with the help of her contacts aboard various Taas heavy cruisers, she could gain the knowledge she needed to earn her commission in these fields in addition to her modeling career.
Red now lives an incredibly comfortable, somewhat lavish life, owning and residing in the upper floors of highrise penthouses on multiple planets.
She has visited home on a few occasions, though it has since been requested that she stay out among the stars, tending to her own life. Her family insist that it's best for her own sake, though also admit that they have concerns that her life may have a broad appeal that would eventually see a mass exodus of their people, effectively shrinking their tribes to little more than a foot note in their planet's history.
There is scarcely a circular digest, digital or in print, that you can pick up today without seeing the noteworthy Tique Natutaya, ever under her pseudonym "Red". She has modeled in thousands and edited the same, writing columns of her own, or being featured as a standard model, in a spread of her very own ((see; "An In Depth Guide to All Things RED", Seeing Red" and "100 Questions Answered – Deep Dive Edition".)) be it clean and fun loving, or something a little more... revealing.
