"After a long travel by rails, we arrived to the next train station. Once i got out of the warm passenger coach, I could feel a great chill flowing through my body, I really wish I could get back on the warm coach, but I had to wait until the passengers had disembarked safely off of the coach. As soon as they left, I looked at my watch to see how much time was there left until we had to leave for the other station, I noticed some white particulates landing on the glass of the watch. I slowly looked up and noticed that it was snowing, being a horse that had never seen the snow, it felt magical. I happily looked at the nighty sky as the snow glided down to the grounds, but I then heard full-Steam (older brother who's also the driver of the locomotive) telling me from the cab of the steam locomotive that it was almost time for us to leave. I could hear Caboose (the guard) blow the whistle to declare the clearance so that the conductor could start the engine, as I could then hear the whistle of the steam engine being pulled by Tender (the fireman) to warn the passengers aboard the coaches that the train was now leaving the station. I got back on the coach as I felt warm again, I looked outside the window and could still see the snow, my friend Coal (the ticket puncher) asked me what I thought about the snow, which i replied that it was the best thing I ever seen. Of course, coal just laughed and told me to wait until I had to clear roads and avoid rooftop landslides, but i told him i could manage as we went to punch the passengers tickets as we continue traveling through the snow"
now since I live in an island that is always summer, i never seen the snow in person, although i always wish i could see it. but looking at how this Art depicts my furry horse seeing the snow really makes me smile and reminds me that i still need to see the snow in person. I like to thank my pink bunny friend

Snow and rain in my area -High Country of Arizona. Since you like railroads - my old HO Gauge https://www.furaffinity.net/view/50016854/
It is, good image here of the higher elevations in the winter https://pixels.com/featured/bradsha.....snow-geno.html Everyone thinks Arizona is just desert, they don't realize the higher areas get snow and have forests.
There were some railroads up there for the gold and silver mines a long time ago - nothing active for 100 years. I've hiked along some of the old rail beds. The rail service to Prescott ended in the late 1980s - a bridge washed out in a bad storm and the Santa Fe RR decided to not rebuild the spur line - not enough business.
