So, upon visiting a local yarn shop for the first time, we found this awesome yarn- Its made from wool from Merino sheep, which is finer and softer than normal wool. And it was harvested and hand-dyed from a small business in Peru, so it has these cool color shifts all throughout. The color is called Pocion, meaning "poison," and as I crocheted, the colors would sometimes line up in the rows and create a semi-brindle effect. Its really pretty but kinda challenging to crochet with, its quite smooth and fine, a smaller yarn than I typically use. Still, the color is beautiful, it has shades of dark plum, harvest gold, rusty ruby, evergreen, and indigo blue that becomes kind of a dark rainbow kind of coloring.
