Wei, Sen's old working partner and mentor, is an older mercenary and a bit of an oddball in her field. She's incredibly kind and caring to her underlings, earning her the nickname "mother hen," but equally fiercely protective of her "children" and ruthless towards outsiders. This ruthlessness can feel outright cruel when combined with her abilities to control the air, an especially nasty trick being the creation of pockets of vacuum around unfriendly individuals to choke them out.
Wei is one of the few people Sen trusts and feels comfortable around, as she has had a big influence on Sen's upbringing as a mercenary. Sen has also adopted Wei's way of carrying a memento of every person she's worked closely with, as the necklace Sen wears is a reminder of Wei.
Heh, a bit of a design sketch to try and flesh out the world more with supporting cast for one of the protagonists. Wei isn't too important to the story, and her personality and background aren't too well defined, but she is still an important character to Sen. Plus it's fun to draw birbs every now and then~
