Long ago, two friends, both burdened by the pains of the world, were torn apart from each other by things beyond their control. One was given the chance to become a beloved hero, who ultimately met her demise to rising flames. The other was stolen away as a slave, and was never seen again alive.

A thousand years went by, with one soul searching for the other. When they finally reunited, they were overjoyed, and vowed to never part ways again, braving the world together with all their other friends they made while they were apart.

Best friends, or maybe something more, inseparable and finally together eternally. And they're teaming up against you. How lucky you must be.
