I'm not quite sure why, but this might be my favorite chapter so far? There's quite a few developments here as well; the revenge Caelum's family have promised, the arrival of the Imperial Envoy (and boy, does he have an attitude!), and news from the motherland... it's war! D:
I wonder how a war a continent away will become relevant as the story unfolds...

Edit: fixed a mistake where more was italicized than should have been. Damn, that's two big mistakes in a row... I'm starting to think I need to find a beta reader.
