A mukash, travelling through the desert and using sheyack plants as their guide drawn by NobodySpecial0990 (mild vore warning) Go check her art out!
To explain what's going on here: mukash live in small tribes, and when one has to deliver exceptional news to other tribes, they paint their skin with pale blue mud. The mud is hard to come by - in fact, it only occurs in a few small areas in their region - and it acts as a sunscreen, protecting the mukash from the heat of the desert sun.
The sheyack plant grows slowly in the desert and relies on visitors to keep it alive. Hence, a symbiotic relationship has developed between travellers, who feed and water the plants with their waste, in return for being guided by following those plants that have survived by the good fortune of being on the traveller's trail.
