One companion of Alexander the Great, whose name was Coragus challenged Athenian wrestler Dioxippus during a banquet.
Coragus appeared on the fight with his armor and armaments fully claded, but Dioxippus wasn't wearing any armor nor clothing, just bringing a club. and as they approached each other, Coragus throw his javelin but to dodged by the opponent. after that, the Macedonian resorted to his sarissa. however, Dioxippus struck the pike and broke it altogether. At last, Coragus draw his sword to compansate his failure. just to be grappled and brought down.
Diodorus' mention on the event is informative enough to bring light on the event.
