From a simpler time when the internet was young and so was I.
This is my piece for the Art Kids show Nostalgia Baby! Oekaki boards were my home as a kid and where I met some of the most fabulous folk that I still talk to this day, 22 years later.
I tried to capture the essence of the Oekaki UI, with my 12 year old self and my then (and always) obsession with Gatomon. I even gave it the NP signature for old time's sake <3. Here's a small selection of my actual Oekaki pieces from 2000-2002ish: https://sta.sh/0r5vmv3l5bd

both pp and kero kero (the place i think almost everyone from pp went to when it died) were literally the reasons i ever began doing digital art. i remember mousing up drawings all day long in my tweens and making so many friends that went on to become so good at their craft. thanks a lot for jogging such a pleasant memory. <3
