250 Followers ...or not?
On October 5, 2022 I reached 250 followers on Twitter
...or did I?
See, since reaching 150 and drawing the 150 pokémon, I couldn't help but notice that about 10% of my followers were obvious bots. When my follower count reached 250, this percentage had doubled (meaning that about half of my new followers were obvious bots!) I didn't want to draw for obvious bots! It could get them followers, they never thank you, and worst of all, they never buy a coloring! So I made the executive decision that bots don't count...literally. I won't give them a pokémon and I won't include them in my follower count to celebrate milestones.
I went for a shading coloring here, mainly because it was hard to tell which pokémon these were in black and white. A flat coloring would take too long, I felt, and wouldn't feel right.
There's actually a time-lapse for this one on the original tweet
And no, I don't do this kind of coloring as a commission
