Old Burnt Eye Is the Grand Champion of the Uldra Arena. one of 8 grand arenas scatterd around last haven. Burnt Eye isnt even his real name, its just a nick name everyone knowns him as. like Valderkain, Burnt Eye relishes a good sparring match but hes getting up in years and dosent engage to many battles anymore. is rather looking to retire, but is not willing to give up his position just yet or give it to jsut anyone. Sure Valder is the most likely contender to take that but there might be others. Burnt eye is just about 1500 years old and hasnt got many years left in him. once his passes on his legecy and the position of Grand Champion is secure by a Worthy of the postion. then Old Burnt Eye will perhaps retire someplace quite and secluded. thats his goal at least. nice peaceful and quite after a lifetime career of being the top fighter in the greatest stage of all.

So some information about these Arenas. there are 8 of them and their not about Bloodshed or gore. their not about Killing their opponents. its a place to test ones mettle and combat prowess and in all sorts of events. ranging from combat sparring, team battles, raceing, athetic, acrobatics events, even magical contests and so many many more.

the thing that makes these areans so great and amazeing is contestants can go all out without fear of death or dieing, as magical wards and protective charms are placed all over the Rings and feilds and even on contestants themselves. the only draw back is after a battle you dont earn any EXP so you cant farm for EXP UNLESS youv joined an Offical Ranked Match and climbed the ladder only then do Characters gain and earn exp but its still not alot to get rich off of for levels. the rewards however is not about EXP anyhow. ranked base matches have rewards in Status and fiscal rewards such as huge payouts like money, magical items and other such loot.

The Areans are one of the oldest fixtures of my world that has allowed players to Truely Go all out on an opponent and really test out what they can do without looseing a character to death or seriouse injury. its a nice way to show off what that character can do and hey, even if you dont get rich off the EXP. you can still learn How that character can function and pick up a neat trick here or there.

Just ask  MrS0N whos character Bran recently had sparred with Valderkain and learned to use his Portal hat trick to counter a particularly devistating Claw to the face and instead turned it around on the Behemoth. That was a great moment in gameing right there ^^
