There was a stillness in the air as she stared into the impenetrable blackness around her.
"Anyone?" Yngva whispered into her now damaged com-link. Only the sounds of the brackish water lapping at her thighs responded.
Then, a familiar chittering sound slowly manifest itself in what seemed to be all directions.
She clenched her plasma rifle tightly, steeling herself. The cackling of her energy blade was the next noise made; it's piercing light furious as it vaporized the water around it.
She was ready.
Really wanted to take this sketch and polish it up. Playing with how to handle textures and the mixer brush.
