After taking the time to adjust to his heightened senses, he looked down at his hands that had developed soft leathery pads on his palms and fingertips. They were like his own, but bulkier and furrier like the forepaws of an animal. Taking into account the way his ears had grown, he came to the conclusion that he had turned into a rabbit somehow. He blurted out if this was some kind of twisted fairytale, believing that some fairy or witch might have put a curse on the apple for some hapless soul who sought to take it. Benji was not pleased with this, feeling awkward with how disproportionately big his head, hands and feet were compared to the rest of him that stayed about the same size. His body was uncomfortably warm with it being covered in fur underneath his clothes, now having one layer of insulation too many. While it was thrilling to see without his glasses for the first time, he didn’t think his new form was a worthy tradeoff.
